Just bought a 99 900rr for $250 and it even runs.

1. Need to swap frames for a new vin. Yes i know it sound stolen but it isnt. my friend bought it from a guy for 800 and then lost the title to it so i picked it up and got it started but it needs all new plastics. the wiring has been butchered and i will need some help from you all i hope.

2. There is nothing on the front to attach anything to. I dont know the names of the parts i need to buy and that is where i am hope everyone can help.

And yes i did see the title it really isnt stolen.

you def have your work cut out for you...
also you def got what you paid for... she looks like she's seen better days... poor little blade
the best part will be reassembling her,its a great feeling if you stick with it...but remember if you dump two to three grand into her, they're not worth much more than that to the right buyer later on down the road.. so try buy everything on the cheap..
def ask away on the questions, everybody im sure would be more than happy to help..

Thanks jason. I figured I couldn't lose much for $250. I know it needs a full set of plastics but I also need the brackets they attach to. I cant find them via google. Do you know what the actual name of them is? For the front end. Ex: the head light has nothing to attach too.

Thanks, Alec

Fairing stay's are what the headlight/cluster etc... attach to.

Good luck with the build.
