Dbbitt.. What do u mean u added more fuel between filter and exhaust??

 

I rejetted the carbs.

 

i have an 04 1k and was about to start calling around about getting my heads ported and polished as i want to keep the sleeper look but the way it sounds on here i might want to think about going a different rout. i have never heard of making less power after a good polish job. time for me to do some more research i think.

If you don't have an exhaust yet? You can get one on eBay. Take your time and search for a good deal. Get a
Slip on/ bolt on. Easy DIY. Vance & Hines , Yoshimura ,
2bro... Etc. The louder the better. You'll get a couple of HP but will sound and feel faster. Most importantly, stupid drivers will hear you coming. Loud pipes save life. Remember a bolt on, no need re-jet carb. Full system you need rejetting.
