Default 95 cbr900rr fuel pump problem

ok guys picking up a 95 cbr900rr tonight, the fuel pump is fried. [I]took the tank off, and conected the fuel lines straight to the tank bypassing the fuel pum, and with full choke it runs. As soon as i release the choke it dies. So fuel pump i assume?
Thats what the seller told me-judging by what i did-it is fuel pump. Or not?
Thanks guys

most people just dont know or understand what your asking...
and this this end of the forums just isnt that active anymore..
anyway yes you can delete the fuel pump...
although i think you need to put a tline in somewhere for vacuum.. it might run fine just idoling but when your thottle calls for some gas to fill the bowls , i believe its going to need a little help...
ill do some checkimg around and get back to the thread, let me know where your at with this, so i know im not wasting my time..

have you ever cleaned carbs before??
do you need some pointers??
i will point out the weakness to these bikes..
the charging system, just aweful.. if i were you i would double check your stator and r/r and of course battery.. i have a few 900's and they're all down right now with one or more of these problems.. other wise its an awesome bike, but charging wise can be a whole lot better..

How dangerous is it to run without a fuel cut off relay?
