Default Help my bike wont turn over

I just bought this 1993 CBR 900 it was great looking at it and all but when I took it home it didnt turn over or make the clicking noise. The lights and electronics work replaced the regulator, starter, clutch, and wiring harness and recharged the batteries. the bike dealer said it may need the carbs clean can someone give me an opinoin on what else might be going on

It may need the carbs cleaned, but if it isn't cranking at all, that's speculation. After you did all of the re-wire/replacement, is it still not trying to turn over at all? Or is it now, just running rough? My firs thought, would be go back over all of the connection and be sure you didn't miss one or "not quite firmly" connected a plug, somewhere in the new harness.

Default bike wont crank

Put it in 1st gear and hold the clutch. Have a friend push you and then let the chutch out so If you engine is seazed you will know now. Your carbe can be full of crap but the motor should turn over

Oh yeah, have some guys to catch you if when you let out the clutch and the engine is frozen, you might hit the ground and they can help catch.

..... so ... the lights come on ... and you press the start button and nothing happens ... i'm assuming that means the starter doesn't try to work at all .... sounds like an electrical issue to the starter here from what I'm gathering ...

Have you checked the solenoid for the starter for operation? ... or even the start button itself?? ... there's some kinda break in circuitry getting to the starter to make it not even try ... if the bump-start that was suggested results in the bike starting and running I would try looking at these few things next ...
