Default fuel petcock,

I just took out my petcock, trying to diagnose a stalling issue, seems to be losing fuel......i went to drain the tank and with petcock out, screen stays in tank......should it come out

Also when turning tank to empty it fuel flow stops, then i shake the tank and it starts flowing again, sound like there is something in there, but I dont want to rip the screen taking it out to clean it, so just wanting to make sure it does come out.

Thanks

From what I remember the screen should stay attached to the valve, Are the tubes locked into the valve? They should be permanently attached

No the tube came off with the petcock, but the screen stayed up in the tank, I tried to pull it out with pliers but didnt want to tear it up, so i put it all back together after blowing it out real good and I have been out riding about 8 hours this weekend, all seems to be fine.

(Now on the the next project) lol
