I am reassembling a 1997 CBR900RR that someone else took apart. I noticed while putting the front end back on the bike, that one of the fork tubes has a dent about hlf way up, above the triple tree. Now that everything is assembled in the front, the left clip-on (side with the dented fork tube), sits really close to (almost touching) the frame and area where the tank goes, when the forks are turned all the way to the left. I also noticed that the lower triple tree, also touches the radiator. I looked at the frame very closely and it seems to be straight.

I have an opportunity to purchase a set of 1995 fork tubes at a pretty good price, that are straight. Are there any differences, from year-to-year, on the fork tubes? The 95 fork tubes are actually the complete left and right sides.
