spent almost to much time on the rear wheel. i haven't touched up the paint yet. the never dull product has been around for years and works really good on aluminum.

Wow, Never Dull... I haven't heard that name since the 80's.

I can smell it just looking at the can. I’d like to know much of that stuff I applied back in my junior enlisted days.

Oof. Sorry to hear about your injury. Glad to know you are back on your feet.

thanks,
i am 58 and i can remember using never dull when i was in my 20's or younger.
i had my accident in 2014. i had 6 motorcycles at the time. i would find motorcycle models i had when i was young and restore them. after accident i sold them all. doctor said not to risk hitting my head if i had another fall. two years ago i got back into the motorcycle hobby and restorations. the cbr900rr is my first full restoration since 2014. the white 1973 yamaha rd350 was the bike i wrecked.

parts cleaned and painted. rear wheel ready for new tire and balancing. going to start polishing the the frame and swing arm today. one good thing the frame has been polished by previous owner so less work for me.
hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

my coolant bottle was stained with old mud looking coolant. i filled it with the purple power and a few nuts and bolts. through out the day i would pick it up and shake it. the next morning i drained and this is what it looks like now. better than expected.

That’s a definite improvement. Would never have thought to us that. Smart thinking.

I actually saw a video on YT that showed someone restoring one that looked much worse than that and it came out looking brand new. Just don't recall what it was about, but worth searching for I think.

Heck, searched my history and found it.
