Hey all. I have a 97 900rr, I had an electrical issue couple Saturdays ago. Bike had no power with ignition on. Did some investigating and found the plastic clip that holds the wires in the main/starter relay had melted. So I replaced the relay & fixed the wires. Today ridin to work I stopped to get some refreshments, cause it gets hot as h3ll in NC. When I killed the ignition the starter engaged and ran down the battery. After I got home I took it apart and checked everything I just replaced/fixed. Everything seems fine. Any ideas what could cause this prob? Sry dont have pics of the fix.
