okay so winters over, happened in one day which is odd. Anyhow bikes back in the garage and stripped down. Last fall when I was testing the starter relay for operation (it checked out okay) and re-installing it I remember this was a spark and then the instrument cluster went out. I retested the relay back then it was still good as well as the fuse.
As of now what I've found that there's continuity between the ignition wires/ starter wires. and battery vltg. pretty much everywhere which means its not dropping any vltg. over a load I think. Anyways the instrument panel wont light up and I found the maxi fuse blown for the new Mofatt something or other R/R that I installed. It wasn't the gixxer one.
However when testing, after disconnecting the starter connector, the g/red (supposedly ground wires) and the negative battery terminal showed no continuity. I'm going to retest the starter relay tomorrow. I hope its not the ICM or anything. Does anyone have any insight?
