Default crankcase/fuel issue

Ok, so here's a new one. I've got a breather filter attached to the breather line that come off the top of the engine/crankcase. Just learned after having the bike for 4 years that this line is actually supposed to be connected to the underside of the airbox, why mine isn't I'll never know. Been trying to get her running good so I can ride to work and try to sell, and now that I've taken care of everything else she decided to throw another problem at me.
Basically It's been running really rich, even to the point where I would go to start it and it is flooded so bad that fuel is pouring out of the exhaust. Now, when it's running fuel is coming out of that breather tube, spraying all over.
Wondering if anyone knows why I have such a fuel issue? Choke is all the way off, I'm guessing it must be the carbs, maybe the floats are stuck? Ideas anyone?

Sounds a little like what mine is doing. All my vents/breather hoses have been attached in their correct positions. I left my bike parked for an hour or so and it was hard to start. It ALWAYS fires up with just a little touch of the starter. I'm thinking a float stuck and flooded things. I'm taking the carbs off later on today.

Check the float needles. Make sure they're captured correctly in the float tang , that the seal at the end of the pin is in good shape and that there is no debris in or around the inlet. (Or of course in the bowls)

Lastly would be to verify float level. Its unlikely that would change on its own but it does happen.
