Default Fuel in crankcase

a friend of a friend brought a 2004 CBR1000RR to me last week. He explained that he was out riding with his buddies when the bike started running poorly. He checked the oil sight glass and saw that it was full - too full. he drained the oil, which smelled like gas, refilled with oil and went back out. I not clear on how much riding he was able to do, but the same thing happened. So the bike is now sitting in my garage with an empty crank case. Before I ruin 3 qts of oil, what are the obvious things I could check? Bike runs great otherwise...

Default Fuel in crankcase

Pull the plugs and look at them. Are they very wet?

If the bike is running okay, it could be a sticking injector. What's the MPG calculating out to?

Default

My experience says leaking diaphragm of fuel pressure regulator could do it.
This usually makes the bike run rich and when the engine is off the fuel floods anything normally carrying engine vacuum, that could include a crankcase.
