Default crankcase

i was riding down the interstate and i hear this sound like my tire went out or something! in my rear view i see white smoke..pulled over and checked the bike to find out that the crankcase blew..now i don't know a whole lot about bikes and that's where i need u guys to help me out..what could cause it to blow up like this..ive always kept the bike in good shape..timely maintenance n all..so i am sure that's not an issue..and what would be the solution to that? the bike is already at the shop but it will be middle of next week till they can even check it out..and i am hoping whatever the repair procedure is..it's covered under factory one year warranty..any expert advice?

Feel for ya man. Did the bike shut off by itself, or did you shut it off? Honda better honor its warrenty in this case. That's insane if theres an actual hole in the crankcase. What kind of oil did you have in it?

na man..the bike was still running..i had to shut it off..yea im hoping honda will cover it..the dealer for some reason takes their time in figuring $h|t up..said they'll let me know sometime next week! i was running repsol 10w 30 synthetic oil in the bike..

now does anyone have an idea what possibly caused this? secondly, anyone knows for sure if honda will cover this under warranty? can that be fixed by replacing a part of does the whole engine would need to be replaced? help out guys!

That's pretty crazy, I'd love to see a pic. This is something that had better be covered by warrantee.

I saw this exact post on 1000RR.net about 2 months ago. They were suspecting some troll activity.
