Converting Grey import Kmh to MPH, advice please ?
Hi All!
New here and the proud owner of a 93 CBR900RR sc28!, its a relatively recent import from Germany I believe and it has a Kmh speedometer, im looking for some advice on changing it to Mph. I picked up a cheap second hand Mph version speedometer for £30 with broken mounting lugs and I am planning on swapping the internals over. I was just wondering is it as easy as just swapping over the parts and im done or will I still need a mechanical Kmh to Mph converter or a new speedometer cable ? any advice would be appreciated. Also when swapping over the clocks can I just hook up a drill to the cable and wind it up until it shows the correct mileage ?
