Hey guys! Hope all is going well. Please let me know if you can help. Recently wheni let out my clutch, mainly in first gear, I hear 1-3 little clicks as it engages. Seems to work just fine. Anybody know what this means? Thanks a lot for all your help.

 

First thing to check is the freeplay in the clutch lever and cable. The clutch may not be fully disengaging. If the freeplay is correct, probably warped clutch plates or damaged clutch splines.

 

or maybe it's ur chain slack check that too

 

i got those noises too, i'm sure its NOT the clutch. coming from the front sprocket.
i did check it and it looks OK , so i don't know yet why the noise...

 

yeah i got the same noise mabe someone can help us here it is coming from the front sprocket kinda sounds like bearings came out of place or something right? I mean it shifts fine and someone said something about the clutch line where is this supposed to sit at how many threads out or how tight is this supposed to be and someone else said something about chain slack whats the recoomended slack for these bikes? help if you can we could use it.. thanks

p.s i can hear that noise in the front sprocket everyonce in a while to when i push it in netural or just simply pulling the clutch in if i get to lazy to put it in Net. to put it in the garage any ideas on this

 

Hey new here I've a 99 900rr and if I'm in neutral and I let off i hear a knocking almost...any ideas?
