On a car, it means the throw-out bearing is starting to go because the grease has dried out. But the bearings on our Honda clutches are bathed in oil. I would adjust the clutch first and go from there.

I have almost exactly the same problem on a CBR 600RR 05 model with under 8000km on it

IF any one comes up with the answer feel free to post it or PM some info on it.

No , Slowpoke, it is not a bearing problem, maybe I can“t say exactly like what it is but is really extrange and I never had something similar in any motorcycle, and I have had many ( since 16 and now I am 53 1 ).

sorry I can“t do a good description of that strange noise.

Cheers all

I've got the same noise in my 03 600RR...had the same noise in my 1984 V65 Sabre 1100....quit worryin about it a long time ago. Kind of like a mix between a light rattle and knock? Least that's as well as i can describe it.
