Default Choke problem

Guys im having a problem with my choke cable. When i pull the **** up, the choke closes and the bike starts fine. But if its cold it will die out because the choke **** will slowly slide back to the down position. Why would it be doing this? The choke **** will slowly fall to the open position whether the bike is on or not.Its very annoying to have to hold the choke **** up, unit the bike is is warm enough to idle on its own. I could be gearing up in this time but i have to hold the stupd know. What gives?

i think is a problem to the idle cable. pull out the idle cable, screw back again in the new pozition, when you screw, he must hit the throtle disc, and the delay must be 1-2 mm. if you want more information email me. bsc_lx@yahoo.com

Underneath the choke pull (where it mounts the triple) you should see a rubber boot that the choke pulls thru. Lift this up, and underneath it is a plastic screw that you need to tighten. Your all fixed now.

i have the same problem. and the manager at the dealership with the same problem said its has a spring atthe end of the wire or something like that. that when the heat or something gets up it closes the choke. but mine has only gotten worse. i am going to try Manic's suggestion.
