Carburetor fitment...
I think ron bumped his head. FI didn't show up until the 929...honest, go look at the microfiche...93-99 900RR's have carburetor assemblies...but I have no idea if 98-99 will fit the 94. Kinda doubt it.
They will fit. I just found out today. I bought a brand new set for only 100 bucks. I did a little research and found out they are the same carburetors for those years. When the dude said rons said it was fuel injector I nearly fell on the floor laughing. I am a recent MMI graduate and Honda was one of my electives. The class didn't go into specifics for the earlier sport bikes. Although we did have a 929, but that was one of the oldest machines there.
I have a strange question for you guys...
Is the fuel delivery of a 98 carb better than the 93 carb or are they exactly the same? I have a flat spot at 4000rpm that I am trying to diagnose and that brought me to fuel delivery.
Anyone got a 2c on this?
