Body filler
What is the best body filler to use on fairings? I recently fixed some cracks with plastex and need to fill in the small grooves that are left. Shoul I use regular bondo and prime first, or a fiberglass bondo and prime first?
I just saw a thread on this, it was a thick, gooey paste, blue in color and the user said it was better than JB weld.
I'm sorry I cannot recall the exact thread but it might have been on another fireblades website.

Bonda fiberglass jelly works very well and it strong. I have used it to fix the oem plastics and it has held strong for several years. Sandable, paintable, and you can use fiberglass cloth just like regular fiberglass. It is a thick paste like bondo, but way stronger.
duraglass, bondo-glass, only way I go. I usually get one of the repair kits that have the cloth with them and add a strip or 2 of fiberglass cloth behing the crack/split in the fairing to give it extra support.
