Im looking to upgrade my exhaust more or less just a sliponformy 98 CBR 900 and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or any brands to stay away from.

 

D &D is LOUD........otherwise makes no real difference. I had V&H SS2R full on my 900RR and liked it......have Yosh TRS on my 1000 and that too is good. Akro makes good power. 2 bros and Honda kinda go together from that time frame though.

 

My '93 came with a full, Erion exhaust system.

Seems to work just fine though I have nothing to compare it to.

 

They're all good so it really comes down to personal preference. I always liked the way Two Bros sounded. They have a nice low tone that isn'tobnoxiously loud.

 

Yes personal preference. 2 bros sound low n nice, Akra sounds nice too but yoshi sounds a bit loud for me.

 

I run an SS2R Full System on my 95' and it sounds nasty. Granted I bought it all hallowed out and had to add a layer of header wrap and a layber of muffler baffle glass but it sounds just great now. Fully packed I can't comment on but it's really easy to pull the muffler apart and adjust the packing density. The V&H is also coated in some kind of nickel, not chrome, but looks awsome and last incredibly well. All and all a very well made system and one I would recomend. ANy onf the above mentioned will make you happy as long as you are ok with a louder system. Good luck and keep an eye on ebay, I got an amazing deal on my system.

 

I have a full Micron on my 99 but i had to chop the can to get a good sound from it...now it sounds lovely it's about 8" long now....
