Hi i bought 98 cbr 900 with 19K,but it pops out of second gear after like a 1/4 turn of the throttle,please help i read the other thread but my bike will stay in gear and accelerate but then slips,please i would like to get some suggestions and maybe a price of what this would cost?

 

sounds like the dogs on your gears are worn, had same problem on my 91 kat. can probably find a used tranny on e-bay or on here for cheap, then just swap out the bad ones and keep the rest for spares. easy to do just time consuming!
