i have a 97 900rr that runs great in cruse or when your get on it a little but but more than half throttle it begans skip almost like the bike is not getting enough fule...anyone ever had this happen to them...and if soo what did you do to fix it

 

Check the air filter and clean it. If by chance you changed the pipe or air filter you may need to get it jetted, check the plugs also

 

Along with the aforementioned air filter, check the vacuum line that goes to the petcock and the vent hose that goes to the gas tank. If the vacuum line is cracked or broken replace it. If the fuel tank vent hose is pinched or kinked, fix or replace it.

 

i had the exact same thing happen to my '97. i changed the plug wires and it cured the problem.
