geez,
you know that makes me think about how the nine hundred has the rider really bent over forward... have you noticed it yet? especially compared to the 600, which i bet is probably a tad more in the upright prone position.
you you can swap out your clipons with something adjustable..and when i say adjustable i mean even on the fly while out on a ride..you should check it out if your planning on slamming some miles on her next year..

wow, those are a little pricey, i wonder though with rising the bar will the levers hit the fairing when turning at low speeds?

off subject this would be awsome if it had a heat gauge and the rpms were higher:
Universal SS191 LED Digital Motorcycle Odometer Speedometer Tachometer Gauge - EBAY

Really would like to have the F4I gauges just cant find any cheap.

i like the gauges.. and there are plenty of threads out there that cover wiring in different units.. although you have to love the chinese sellers.. they say: Fit for: All Motorcycle..
so i guess its universal..

ya, the custom clip-ons are pricey but i was really just trying to turn you on to them.. there is another company out there that i have saved somewhere in my bookmarks, anyway they're not that bad money wise and they're different in the sense where only the handle part adjust, it has like four different angle adjustments with no up and down..
when i find them i'll send it your way..
i love my nine but damm if i dont feel like im getting ready to race someone as soon as i pull out of my neighborhood. if you know the 900's in general as they move up in years the controls and seat get more comfortable..
all the young guys that i ride with will sit on my 94 or 95 and are like how do you ride like this? two in particular, one has a R1 and the other has a 06 R6 anyway pretty damm funny..
also thats why i ride my street fighter alot more than anything else, its just more comfortable..
this guy did the f4i swap to his f3 and not bad looking either..but i suspect you'll have your hands full like the blinker scenario
hey this is a great article. a tad off subject but you'll enjoy it..i need to send this to vin..

oh, so in case you decide to not go through the wiring deal but want better lit gauges you should check out what companys that are around still doing these, actually someone on the site was trying to sell theirs about six months backk
Honda CBR 900 RR 1993-1997 KM/H & MPH Reverse Style Illumiglo Gauges
now personally i kinda like this path only because i still have relatively low miles on my bikes and really dont want to start cutting off factory plugs..

i did the conversion on my F3 to the F4I gauges honestly it wasnt hard i followed a pinout sheet here on the forum toke me about an hour to get it down minus the time it toke me to fab up bracket for the cluster. Id love to find another set of them to put on the 900 i just really like the F4I gauges and im already used to them from riding my F3. My F3 is the same year as my 900 and it doesnt really ride that much different the 900 does have you in the tuck a little more but not to bad actually with some simple adjustments i think my 900 will be more comfortable than the F3 just have to find some time to figure it all out and adjust it in.

The forks arent responding like they should on the 900 but im still riding it i bought new seals and ect.. to possibly rebiuld them but that will be a winter project. My throttle seems to be a little work out it will stick at times or slow to come back to 0 so im going to order one of the quick action throttles with the new tube and some new cables see if that is better. the front wheel still doesnt spin more than 1/2 rotation while on the stand but you can tell while riding it it doesnt feel like there is any resistance and the braking is good so i will assume it was the pads may have been just a little big.

There are a few adjustments i have been making since i started riding it but that is to be expected since the bike was just rebiult. i still need a rear brake lever the end of mine is broke off ive been using the front brakes all the time at the moment so im going to order i new lever or get a used one from ebay, other than those things bike is running great very strong.

speaking of forks, they all will fit right up to 99.. if you were thinking of swapping out your 95's, with something newer.
there is a chrome set on ebay right now for like 179.00.
maybe worth rebuilding those or anything newer and then selling yours..
