I don't recall if this was said and I just missed it but have you tried hooking everything together on a stand alone system? As in lay everything out on the bench in place then wire everything together by the wiring diagram to see it all works off the bike. If it does work then maybe there is something missed on the bike or in the new parts that is causing it not to work right. Outside of that I don't know what else could be done. Wish I could help more and give back to the community for all help I have gotten.

ya, his response was sell it..
i'm sorry but thats a wasted favor you called in..

"So im hoping someone here has a spare miracle laying around "

i've had a feeling all along your a pretty capable guy, maybe another way around this is upgrading the left side switch configuration with maybe something newer from the 2000 and up, maybe like from 04 cbr1000 and use that switch and relay and just rewire the whole thing from the beginning..

you know now that i think of it, theres guys on the other two cbr sites that have swapped out their spedos for newer cbr600 ones and rewired everything to match up the the newer clocks, maybe that would be a good place to start.. and maybe another mod that would run parallel to fixing the blinker problem..

wiring sux, plain and simple. i've been up myself most of the night cutting and soldering wires on my streetfighter.. after a few hours of some pretty tedious work, i only cut one wire by mistake and thank god i always make two cuts as a habit when working a harness and the first cut i always leave at least an inch or two..
anyway point is you'll get it fixed and it will be worth it.. in the end you'll have almost a 1000cc bike with no payment and a lot of history. no matter what 900 hundred i take out when i meet up with people to go riding with, its always the center of attention..
Not bad for a 20 year old bike..

i take it your going to go with the electronic flasher box.. just remember if you do and your still getting no where then its def in the switch. i've come across quite a few threads where some people have to open theirs up every couple of years and grease the contacts, my guess is the box doesnt seal right and water gets into them.. with that said i've never had a problem..

i completely re-wired the turn signal circiut as a stand alone tonight its all ready i ordered some LED flashing units for the job i left some of the existing wiring in so it would turn of running lights when signaling and such. I have already tested it out it works great just need to get the flashers installed whenever they come in, hard up for cash so i had to order the cheaper ones from china so it will take 2 weeks before i see them im sure. But i have kicked its ***, and will soon be a problem of the past, now i can move onto to other things.
