Default '94 plug wires

So I was replacing my spark plugs when one of the caps came right off the wire, at first I was pissed & thought it broke off then when I was looking up new wires online it seems that the caps are separate, like they clip together. Anyone know if I can just try to fit the wire back into the plug? Will that work?

Thanks!

This seems like a very quick and easy question to answer... I can't believe you haven't gotten a response yet.

I already fixed it, can't believe it took over a month to get a response though

Did they just clip back together or did you end up replacing one or all of them?

just cut a bit of the wire and it goes right back into the plug end, designed that way I learned, never knew it was a 2 piece design. Ended up I have a bad coil so I bought some new coils and wires that are being shipped hopefully tomorrow to replace it all anyway, then I can get her on the road!
