Would a 93 CBR900RR tank fit on a 99' CBR900RR?

I know a few models had fuel pumps, and different petcock valves, so I'm just checking.

I really want to get rid of this stunttank, it seriously distracts from the overall good appearance of my bike.

no, main difference would be the actual front mounting bracket. '93-'94 had a single bolt, '95+ had 2 (might be '96+). As far as the petcock I'm not sure if all that's the same. You could always make a double bolt bracket for the front mount point...

 

no, petcocks are different 93-94 are the same 95-97 same not sure about 98-up.
