Default 900rr carb and air box.

Does anyone know if carbs and airbox from a 94 900rr will fit on a 99 900rr?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they wont be a direct bolt on as they are likely smaller and the air box was not designed for the shape of the 99 gas tank.

Direct fittings; most probably no. But with certain modifications maybe can. However I believe its going to be a suicide move..

The airbox is the same part from 93-99 and the carburetors will fit onto the block, yes. 93-94 carbs are fed through a fuel pump whereas 95 and up are not. What difference that makes in the carbs themselves I have yet to find out--why don't you install them and let us know!

I found a deal where I can get a K&N air filter, air box and bank of carbs for lessthan a new K&N. I was mainly looking to pick up the K&N. Since theit comes with aFactory Pro configuration 10 jet kit, I was wondering if the carbs would bolt up. But as long as the air filter would be the same I don't care too much about the other part and probably sell them.
