Default 1998 CBR900RRW braided brake hose installation

Hi,
Having to update the brake lines on my CBR900RRW. Have decided to go down the braided hose route (much to the dismay of all purists), with a Hel 2-line full length race setup. This has 2 separate lines from a double banjo bolt at the master cylinder.
But I'm struggling to figure out the correct orientation for installation. Does anyone have experience of these, or already have them fitted, and could offer some advice?

The longer hose has 2 angled banjos.
The shorter has one straight and one angled banjo.

Which side caliper does the longer hose go on (I assumed the LHS but the banjos don't lend themselves for this)?

What order do the hoses go on the double banjo (again if putting the long hose on the LHS, I thought this would go on first, so furthest from the master cylinder, but then the straight connector on the short house doesn't look right on the boss on the master cylinder)?

I've attached an image (actually with the short hose installed on the double banjo first).

Sorry if this sounds like gibberish; maybe I can explain better but any initial hints may help.
Thanks so much. Steve

The longer hose goes to the caliper on the left (the master cylinder being on the right).

Usually, the straight banjo goes on the MC first, with the angled one next, pointing away.

The way you have them in the pic looks right.

You can twist the banjos on their connections to make them fit the calipers more easily, but they usually come correct, and i would try everything else first and only do it gently if you know what you're doing (don't crush the connections or mark anything). Last resort.

Just try to seat them as they are first.
