Default clutch hose

riding home today I lost my clutch. geared it very slowly to the nearest servo. check clutch fluid, was empty. filled it up and got home. when i opened the left side panel i noticed fluid every where. traced it and it coming from the high pressure clutch hose. noticed there was a larger hose placed over the thinner one, looks like someone new there was a leak there and slowed it down. are these easy to change. will i need a special tool to replace to remove the old hose?

Any help would be muchly welcomed

I don;t know if the hose can be rebuilt, but a new complete hose assembly runs about $130 (from master cylinder to slave cylinder)

I think Honda went with the brass line over the engine to keep heat cycling of a regular rubber hose to a minimum. But with a stainless hose, who knows?

You may be able to take the whole piece to shop that makes hydraulic hoses and see what they can do. We get hoses made for our equipment all the time.
They may be able to do a decent splice for cheap, too, but I'm not sure.
And I think the extra outer hose is for protection.

The only tools u need to take it off is a 12mm spanner and some rags as far as I can see.
