bought a 93 motor came with all the wires so i didnt have to do any mods to the wireing but after instaling the motor and starting her up i noticed that the oil temp or the (temp of the bike would blink 270) it droped to 267 1 time but was still blinking i can ride the bike with no problem but can some1 point me then the right direction on what to do about this what the issue could be. Also would this screw with the fan on the radatior and keep that from starting up when the bike gets to hot? Any solutions would be greatly appriciated. and by liquid coold it means? thanks for the help in advance

As with any motor vehicle, the Temp sensor is what tells the fan to go on or off. It also sends the signal to the Temp gage. I would suspect that either the sensor is faulty or the wiring from it is dropping out. Is there a good contact at the connector?

 

m i thought it was the sensor and im not sure yet if the wiring on under the cover is bad or not but i know when i put the motor i did all the wiring so i know that shes all good externally but the sensors and such internally i will check that out and thanks for the suggestion, and shadow1 you have been a big help to a lot of ppl thanks for that download
