Default F2 build-900RR motor swap, 954RR Front end, F4i/RR body

Ok, starting a fresh build thread, I figured I would post up what I have so far. First off, on several fourms I have read that people have been notching the frame to get this motor to fit, that is not needed and takes a toll on the structural integrity of the frame. Although some mounts do need to be modified.
Started as this:

The new motor:

This is what the frame a few other misc. parts will be powdercoated:

And using a 954RR Ti header

The 954RR forks and F3 rear wheel:

And the 954 headers almost bolt up perfectly to the 900:

Thats great!

I have always wondered if a 929 or 954 header would work on a 900 motor. I now have my answer.... Did it bolt right on?

Thanks guys!

The 954RR header is not quite a direct bolt on, cyl 1 and 4 bolt right on, the two in the middle have to have the ears of the flanges shaved down or else they will hit each other.

JankCibber, When I get finished mocking everything up I will take some detail pictures of what I changed, nothing major has been modified on the frame, just the mount that is down by the swingarm, and the welded on spacer on the left side of the frame for the mount above it.

Yep, clears the pan fine, I'll try and take a pic or two for you tomorrow.

The only thing I have not checked is fairing clearance.
