Default YumYum's suday project

I finally got around to remove the rear brake res. I think bike looks much cleaner without the passenger pegs too. Bleed both rear and front brake as well

I could not get around changing the air filter. I took off side and lower fairings, moved the tank and loosen the screws. But there were bunch of wired on the top and I could not get to air filter. Can someone let me know how I am supposed to change the filter?

They are all Honda parts except for the clamp I got from auto store by the cap. My bike is low, so it is probably problem relating to mine, but I felt that hose might move around too much while riding and might get too close to the pipe. So I got the clamp to attach to the plate where old res was attached. It worked out better, I think

The parts are:
V.Tube : 43503-NF4-00
Tube clip: 95002-02120
Clamp : 43541-ND5-750
Cap: 17370-419-700

And the clamp I got from auto store is like this. Took out the rubber thingy. Didn't fit too well with it. If you want to do this, I think in normal height bike, 1 foot long tube like the Honda part is not long enough. You can also have it shorter, I think. When I press the brake, the fluid only moves 1/4 inch or so

You should paint your exhaust heat shield black The silver behind where the passenger pegs were, and below the rearsets really stands out.

Rear brake res delete mod looks sick! I've been wanting to do that...

ha ha I am glad you noticed. I was going to do that, actually took too long to find that clamp to attach the tube. and didn't get to do it. Next time.

you know how much you ended up paying for the tubing? Part number? I've seen the kit listed on ebay, but for some crazy prices, so if you know the part number and even where you got it from, that'll be greatly appreciated!

Again all the parts except for the clamp in the separate pic came from Honda dealer. That one was in a 3 pack and probably was like $3. I am sure you can find it sold separately. If your bike is not lower like mine, you don't need this. But if you want to do it, you probably have to get a bigger clamp so your hose will still have some play with suspension.

The parts are:
V.Tube : 43503-NF4-00 $1.95
Tube clip: 95002-02120 $.45
Clamp : 43541-ND5-750 $4.45
Cap: 17370-419-700 $3.55

Some people make the tube shorter. I think if it is a shorter tube, it won't be jiggly too much while riding, but I like the idea of being secured, plus still has good amount of brake fluid there too.

Default Yumyum's Wed Project

I had to send in my gauge to Motydesign. I found a cheap spare on ebay and it came in yesterday. So I took off my original one and put the spare one on. Also lightech mirror came in, so I put that on as well. The bolt was too long so I had to cut it. I also took off the reflector bracket for R Dub.

To my surprise, the spare cheap gauge I got already had blue led mod done. It looks so cool. I am having mine done in difference color. So I am still sending mine. Too bad I cannot change the gauge around according to my mood.

I still have to paint the heat guard by the rearset. Can some one confirm how to take that off? I found this pic on other forum. If I take off these bolts, will I be able to slide the heat guard out?
