RE: worst tires ever!!

thanks for the suggestion i think i will decrease the tire pressure before hitting the twisties next time. i dont want any more cracked ribs. not to mention the damage to my new baby. i just want to add one more thing. i hear you all always stressing the importance of wearing proper gear and not speeding like a bat out of hell. i am a firm believer of riding it like you stole it. but in my case im glad i had full gear on and only low sided her at 50 instead of 100. my gear saved my life!!. no doubtabout it. brand new icon helmet only 2 hours old saved my skull, icontarmac jacket saved my torso and the good ol adidas' saved my feet.

Maybe its your riding style and not the tires?

I don't believe in tires, you can never trust them. My bike flies.

As far as my opinion goes, I have had no problems with the stock tires on the '07s. I believe they give a decent feedback and hold their own. Yes, when they are cold they tend to slip but thats about all i've seen. If it wasn't for the CT2s, I'dprobably go with them again.Like said before, Sounds like you run a little more aggressive, so check the tire pressure and set it a few pounds lower. Sorry to hear about your accident, but most likely it wasn't all due to the tires. glad to see you're up and typing about it.

do you know how to ride right ? not trying to be a dick .. but alot of the guys that "ride it like you stole it " on the street dont know the right body postion .. have you ever done a track day ? if not TAKE ONE its worth the money i promise you will not regret it ! and if your riding that hard .. you need to save it for the track anyways .. i have had several sets of dunflops ... there good.. you just have to learn how to ride on the tire .. i put on a pair of pilots before i went to big bend ,texas this year (right before my pearl white one was stolen :( ) and i wont spend my money on anyother thing then those but do a track day learn then take what you learn back out on the street with you .. and if your really gonna be riding like that .. get you a full suit and some boots !

I can rip the streets a new a**hole on my Qualifiers. They are stock ones off an 07 that the guy didn't want too. They're real slick when cold. After they get hot Ihave not seen any slippage.
