Winterizing question

Default Winterizing question

so i went to check on her in the shed today and there was a decent amount of frost ont he side of the tran or cranckase. Is this ok. Unfortunatly the bike does not have a heated room so i am asuming this is expected?

yeah just let it warm up before you try and start it or do anything with it again it should be ok, thro a tarp over it at least tho

i disconected the battery and all winter procedures were done. I have a bed sheet over it will a tarp be better. I do not want to trap moisture.

Personally I think your bed sheet will be just fine. Would a tarp be better, ah maybe just because it is thicker but it is not like the tarp is insulated to keep the bike warm and your bike is at least inside where the weather and elements can't get to it. Frost on the crank is fine. Its not going to hurt anything. Think about the amount of frost builds up on your car motor and it is fine. Nothing to worry about here
