Can anybody tell me the location of the catalytic converter on an 04 600rr ?

Actually there are two and they are below the engine.

i was under the impression that the catalytic converter was the wider bluge just after the 2:1 connection (#1 is pointing to it) and that the two jobbers you're referring to are just couplers.

No I believe all of the rr's are equipped w/them. \

Knightslugger- I think they moved it for 05/06 to right where you thought it was.

No...they're not all equipped with them, in fact; I'm pretty sure it's not even called a catalytic converter...the California bikes have an extra "evap" can on it in an attempt to reduce smog, but none of the 49 state RR's have this "evap" can...his is a Foridian RR with no funky emissions requirements (unless he bought it in CA).
