3rd gear you need to do standing up and bounce it. I just bounce it, but some bounce and slip the clutch. Don't jump with your weight forward. Just straight up and lean back right away. 9 grand works good

 

thekid is right, clutching isn't the way to learn cuz you go through a lot of clutches, however once you get good at power wheelies i would suggest learning to clutch at low speeds. its all about gas brake dippin

 

If the last thing you remember is hitting the ground you probably went too far.

yea dude riding wheelies is a natural part of riding motorcycles to me....i get bored when im out on a boring strait highway i jsut gotta slow down to bout 30 and clutch it up till i hit about 85 or whatever im feeling at the moment......awwww instant gratification.....unless i get spotted by a police man, then im like f*ck im an idiot
