Call me stupid but how does it blow the fork seals out when it's basically the same as hitting a bump in the road.

The force of the impact is much greater than simply hitting a bump in the road. Besides... an occasional bump in the road wont blow the seals, nor will an occasional wheelie. But constant abuse, especially in 1st gear, bringing that nose down hard will wear out the fork seals extremely fast.

RiPTOR... are you standing on the pilots pegs when doing your second gear wheelies, do you have to bounce it, is it easier to ballance while standing? can you give more details on 2nd gear pop ups?

The fork is compressed about 2.5x more than hitting a normal "bump" when setting the front wheel down on a wheelie. I busted seals doing wheelies with an F2. 1st geat wheelies are especially harsh due to the engine torque pulling the front wheel down when letting off the throttle.

I do sit downs, stand ups, and staggers in 2nd gear. Be careful with stand-ups in 2nd... it'll pop right up to balance point quick if you hop and time it just right. Sit downs are pretty easy... my best are when I'm crusiing around 40mph or so, pull in the clutch just enough to get it slipping... grab some throttle and drop the clutch. If you are comfortable on one wheel and wanna learn a little better balance try the stagger. Put the the left passenger peg down, stand up on the pegs and then extend your left leg and put your left foot on the passenger peg. I recommend practicing sit down wheelies before attempting this. Once you pop that front end up in the stagger stance your balance is much better. It may feel awkward at first but with practice you'll be able to ride those out. Have fun and be careful.
