RE: wheelie question
It all depends on what you're wanting to do. I do 2nd gears sittin down and clutchin it sometimes, but if we're out at the local stuntin spot, i do all my stand-up in 2nd just bouncin. Anyways, here's what i've come to consider the "bottom line" for the 600RR.
A stock 600RR WILL do a power wheelie in 1st. Be careful, can be touchy. Since it can power wheelie in first, obviously you can clutch it in first---but i highly recommend NOT doing that lol.
A stock 600RR WILL NOT do a power wheelie in 2nd sitting down. It CAN be clutched up while sitting down, and the balance point is not really that much higher than any other bike. It depends on rider weight, but most will have to scoot their butts back in the seat to do this. Also, it will bounce up in second without the clutch. There is no perfect speed where this is possible, it totally depends on the skill of the rider and how much "bouncing" experience that rider has.
A stock 600RR WILL NOT clutch up in third while sitting down. Unless you weigh 50lbs, then maybe you have a chance lol. However, it can be bounced up in third. And it can be bounced up in 4th, however only if you have alot of experience with bouncing.
This is what i have found to be true on STOCK 600RR's with NO GEARING MODS.
If anyone disagrees, lemme know.
