So this is my first time posting, apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section, but was hoping I could get your opinions. So this weekend I'm gonna check out a 2005 600rr (tribal black), 7,000 miles, and everything is completely stock. He says its in great shape, no cosmetic damage from what I can see in the pics. He's posting it at $5,000. Was wondering what you think of that price, considering the economy and all, is that a good price? And if you think its not what would you say is reasonable?

 

I paid $6900 for my 07' but im up here in Canada 5K seems ok to me? my buddy picked up an 03' for $4700 cnd again. Have you checked craigslist? good luck

No luck yet, didn't get a chance to check it out, he got called into work over the weekend. But he says he should be good for this weekend, I'll keep you updated.

 

A final update on the bike. The guy decided not to sell it anymore, he found out he is getting 8 grand back from the fed for being a first time home buyer. So the wifey said he can keep the bike. So my hunt continues.
