i checked the tire pressure that day.

it was fine.
they and the road were just cold.
and it hit that low power and just went out.

all in all, not bad for a mid turn dump at 40mph..

I'd been wanting to hear how these R&G's held up. Well... not wanting anyone to crash, but if they did, I wanted to see how they turned out. Glad that it turned out okay!

I've seen/installed the Shogun no-cuts... not nearly as big of a fan... though they did do their job when my friend's bike went down.

i believe the extra money spent on the R&G's just paid itself off..

cosmetically its almost perfect minus the rear cowl and mirror. one wouldnt even know at first look.

i believe alot omre damage would have been done with lower quality sliders..

like i told everyone when i bought them, if it saved me one piece of plastic then they paid themselves off.

and it saved 3 pieces and nearly a 4th

well yesterday went down to EMA (European Motorcycle Acessories), they basically distribute R&G stuff to the whole country, and they are right down the street! =D

anyways! i know one of the dudes that worked there, hooked me up with a discount on a replacement slider puck for the left side and gave me a few spare parts for the swingarm slider for free (since apparently they dont make replacement parts for the swingarm, you apparently have to buy a new $50 kit) so i was super stoked about that.

ordering everything but my upper and lower plastic today. hopefully it will be here next week sometime..

i guess no one would be interested in a upper and lower slightly scuffed faring would they? im just too **** to leave it on there..
