RE: Turbo/Supercharged 600rr
I have seen alot of people with turbos on their bikes that as their getting on it, the turbo will kick in and flip the bike right over.
Why would you want that much horsepower on a street rocket. If your going to do that kind of modification, you need to get a big *** wheelie bar and take it to the track.
Imagine hitting the ground at 200MPH(OUCH)

thanks for the info...Im not trying ot break any records per say, but if I do I guess I do. Maby I will just go all NA mods. But like I said I just wanted alot of info on it so I could make an educated decision. I also really want carbon rims but for the price they are not worth it to me...But since you guys say turbos are basically a No No, what are the top mods for more top end performance? The bike needs more pull at the top end (IMO) and I'd like to take care of that..First exhaust and a power commander, but what next?

Your bike is fast just the way it is. If you want to feel a difference then get a power commander. A full slip-on and a K&N air filter. That will open the bike up more. This will be my 2nd season riding and I just put a Micron Slip-on and the power commander on my 2005 600rr and it feels great. Good handling and great throttle response. Just enjoy the bike and she will not disappoint you. Doing a super charger will just put your name in the obituary...

oook... soo enough of the speed bashing and onto some knowledge...
general horsepower mods:
PC-III USB 270.00
Full Exhaust system 1200-1500.00
Milled head, ported, polished - depends
Over bore cylinders
High compression pistons
Adjustable cam sprockets
high compression pistons
forged rods - balanced
forged crank - balanced
HRC cams
HRC head gasket
Shorter velocity stacks (45mm or so)
That should get you into the 120-130 range at the wheel, probably 135 if you do the compression up to around 14:1 and ditch the PC-III and get a motul so that you can control everything on the bike instead of just fuel.
all in all thats about 10-15g's of stuff.

why do people spend so much fixing up their car (me included), because its a hobby, and It is what we want to spend our money on. but that is alot of money when I could buy a 1000rr but then you sacrafice handling due to weight.,. Its all about HP to wieght. thanks alot sodamninsane. Alot of stuff in that list i will look at, but I dont think i'm too comfy with that high compression for such a small gain ya know?
and the bike may be fast enough to some of you, but not to me. plus if it was fast enough why are you buying exhaust, power commander etc..because you want it faster..
