I have a 2003 cbr rr with 10000 miles. Lately every thing is cool but after a while of riding and I am going through the gears it does NOT want to go into 4th. After playing with it for a minute it decides to go into 4th when IT WANTS TO. Has any one had this problem and how the hell do I fix it. NOT A STUNTER! REGULAR OIL CHANGES AND MAINTANCES!

 

Do you get on it a lot, honestly??? Particularly in higher gears?? If so, you have have a tranny problem with the gear. The actual gear maybe chipped or damaged, or may have a slightly damaged shift fork. 4th gear and 5th gear are usually the larger gears, which maybe the problem you cant get it in sometimes. Just a thought though
