I'm by no means saying I haven't done a rediculous speed. I just don't like these threads ever since that one guy asked, I think he had a 954? And didn't he go out one night and end up dying? I just get an eerie feeling everytime I see a thread like that one.

Haha what's even more odd, is that I used eerie just as you did to describe it, and I seriously in all honesty totally missed your post somehow. Damnit =[ now I'm that guy that doesn't carefully scan the thread lmao. Ahh well <3

"THAT" guy huh? LOL. Funny, and strange at the same time.

I'll be honest.....I stole eerie from the thread I posted. LOL.

ORIGINAL: f3racer

ok then...................i saw 173 mph for abour 3 miles striaght. on an 06. if CORRECTED then it would have been more around 160..........dicks

also if you listen to sixhundredrr you'll get less ****, plus at the bottom of the where it says "related threads" you'll see at least 3 threads on top speed.
+2

and btw, don't assume that everyone that has a different opinion (than to yours) of the topic of this thread is a hater.

I generally and when I can safely and smartly do it, find out the top speed on every bike I get. Always have.

After that, I go fast enough on certain, good, quiet backroads, to get that adrenaline/controlled fear rush.

But also keep the speed where it needs to be so I can brake and take a good lne through the next good set of corners.

That's what it's all about anyway...right?

Just outright speed...I know for a fact that 200+ mph would not faze me past the point of absolute concentration on just staying
upright, and of course not hitting something immobile or something moving but at a substantially slower speed.

In the time it physically takes you to look down at the speedometer,
and your brain to process the numbers 1-6-0..........

................you've just covered 234 feet without looking.

Chilling little fact, that.
