Default Top Speeds

Wanted to know what you guys have topped out at. I have an 07 600 rr and I finally got 170 out of it.

Did a search but only found an older post with mostly 900s. wanted to know what the 600 guys are doing.

Oh yeah, bone stock bike.

I hope you're hitting speeds like that on a track???

If not, do yourself a favor and sell the bike so you'll live to see another day.

+1 on speedo error. You may think you've done 170mph but you really haven't.

A friend of mine saw 205 on his RC-51 afew years ago. I've seenwarp speed on my 1000 with +4 up front. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Do a search......this comes up every couple of weeks in every category.

...what I hate is when these turn into a moral/ethical debate when the TS asked a simple question. Simply post your 3 digits and save the moral rhetoric

Anyways, I did 175, but my wife beater rippedso Ihad to ease back on the throttle

Problem is that these sorts of things give everyone who owns a sport bike a bad name. It's also bad etiquette not to search because this thread has to be one of 150 I've seen in my short time here.

You talk of the moral rhetoric but make a wife beater comment. I can not tell if you are serious you were wearing a wife beater. Please, enlighten me.
