My visor is usually up below 40. I think a warning would have been enough.
How would the cop know if the guy hadn't been warned before? Why do people always blame others when they get caught breaking the law?

I wont be doing it again, I just cant see the problem going 15 mph then closing it being that huge of an issue. Either way.. if I'm moving the visor will be closed, but a ticket or warning would have had the same result with me.

that sucks. whenever i come to a stop i'll have my visor up. but once i start moving it comes down. only exception is if i have shades on underneath.

I do not change visor position for cops nor have I been stopped for it. Just something to change about my riding. No biggie.

You have every right to make that choice, and the cop has every right to ticket you if it violates the law.

I don't think that your shades will cut it. I always have prescription eyewear on, but since they aren't considered goggles or safety glasses, it most likely won't fly with the officer who has the time to pull me over for the visor.

Personally, I had laser I surery, As I was almost blind. I now have perfect vision. I take every precaution to protect my eyes, You dont know the value of something you take forgranted till its gone. So regardless of what the law says, Dont be a moron.

In Florida, Sunglasses are fine. Anything that covers your eyes work. Cunglasses are amde from the same thing visors are.
