Tailbag vs Backpack
I'm exploring options for my 07 600RR.
I bring some stuff on my work commute and on longer rides I will pack a day or two change of clothes.. On my F4i I used a Cortech sport backpack and it was perfect... 18 liters collapsed 21 liters expanded.
Here is a generic pic of it
Unfortunately the bungee/J hook system wont work on my RR.. so I'm looking at other ways. I do have a seat cowl on the bike usually but I have the OEM seat as well.
I'm considering the Cortech Sport 2.0 since it uses straps and I have loved my old tail bag...
But I am also looking at the Ogio NoDrag backpacks *Mach 3 and Mach5*
If you are running a tailbag on your RR.. which one is it? Do you like it? What about the NoDrag? Seems pretty good too.
thanks!

I didn't specifically have the "NoDrag", but my OGIO backpack lasted me 8 years (4 of which were college), and I could easily pack enough clothes/toiletries for my wife and I to go on a weekend trip. I used it EVERY DAY during those 8 years as well (during college with books, and I used it to carry anything from documents to money bags full of $60 worth of quarters after college), so it really speaks to its' durability. Rain, cold, really hot... It didn't matter, and it was fairly weatherproofed and ergonomically comfortable.
The good thing about a backpack is that if you ever go 2-up, the person on back can wear it still. If you have a tank bag or tail bag, you run into issues if you go 2-up. However, I'm sure if you're solely by yourself, a tail bag is more comfortable.

I ended up buyin the Ogio Mach 3 for day to day needs.. and a Cortech 2.0 for longer rides.. my buddy has one like new and he wants something even bigger.. so I ended up with both for less than the cost of the Mach 5 backpack.. not a bad deal..
Morale of the story.. if you can't decide.. why not get both? Thanks Conrice
thanks all
