Default stubborn bolt!

I am in the process of installing frame sliders on my 05 600RR. The engine mount bolt on the left side was no problem. However, the right side is another story. I can't seem to loosen the nut on the back of the bolt. Is there something I am forgetting? I loosen the pinch bolt, and even tried just removing the mount bolt first, but I can't seem to get the nut loose. It's the one hidden behind the radiator hose and exhaust manifold. Do I just need more leverage, or is there something else I need to do.

I have the same bike.... I used leverage on the bolt and broke it free. Once the bolt turned, the nut on the back seemed to free up a bit.

are you sure you're turning it the right way? When i was doing my sliders i spent about ten minutes trying to tighten instead of loosen... <--- dumbass.... but anyway. get a breaker bar or some penetrating oil...

It will come loose with a lot of leverage and im sure the pinch bolt has to be loose also.

Thanks to all for the input. I just kept at it and the nut came loose. I pushed so hard that I think I pulled a muscle! The new yoyodine frame sliders I installed look great. I was real hesitant to drill holes in the fairings, but was well worth it. Will put picks up eventually.
