Default Soon to be, new rr owner maybe

Found a 2006 600rr for sale listed at 3250

down side
-laid it down going about 25
-original fairings all rashed
-still ran until he parked it and his dogs chewed up some of the wiring
now it wont start...

plus sides
-has all the pieces / parts to put it back together
-only has 2,000 miles on it
-clean tittle

over the phone he agreed to 2500 <- with a lot of negotiating and begging... lol.....
he lives about an hour from my place so i didnt wanna drive over and have him say no :P

what should i be looking for, checking for, ect. ect.??

im pretty technical and should be able to put her back together
but im still scared of something internally wrong with it, or something i cant see....

just lookin for some opinions here!

Hard to say what to look for. He's already said it won't start, so there is not much you can do in the way of checking except visually. Looking for obvious damage to areas he didn't mention would be my first thought.

I say just spend another 1500 bucks and get u a working 06 rr that way u skip the pain off trying to put the bike together although it would be a great experience to semi build your own bike

Be careful with that, though. What if he parked it because it wouldn't run because he has engine damage. I wouldn't take that chance unless you really want to rebuild a motor.

This is def a project bike. Grab it if you're into bike restoration, and have all the equipment necessary to do engine work.
