but that's been preached many times...so get it if you want, ride UBER safe...and beware of the incase****s that will happen...because it will bite hard.

get quotes from a few dealers and then play them against each other.

Well my friend got a '07 GSX-R and has had no problems being that it was his first bike too. And money really isn't an issue...

I was clueless. I bought a cbr600 rr as my first bike without knowing all the options out there and without knowing what makes each bike different or what the differences are in each type.

I love it.

I'm still thinking about buying that pocket crotch rocket though to really "burn" it up on...err practice on.

I say buy what you love/want since $ is not a prob for you and read most of the threads off this website.
You really learn alot of things. I know I did.
