Can you at least ride it until the parts come in? A week sounds optimistic -- somethings almost always on backorder[sm=smiley24.gif]

That's not too bad of a damage. Least no frame damage. But yea, might be awhile till you get your bike back. I'd call everyday if it take them over a week.

I wouldnt accept it back. The shop did it and the shop is responsible to replace it. Thats what insurance is for so make them use it. MAKE THEM GIVE YOU A NEW BIKE!!! Of course they are going to say no up front but then its time to get some Legal Counsel involved. You deserve a new undamaged bike like you took them in the first place. Don't waiver on this and let them push you around. You are the customer so make them work for you!!!! Just my opinion!!!!!!!

I agree with RepSolRider. It looks to me like someone was riding it when it was "dropped". Who knows what they were doing like maybe stunting it? If it was dropped while someone was riding it then I would kick yell and scream until I got a new bike. Think of it this way, if for whatever reason you decided to sell it next month you can not in good faith say it has never been dropped. Let them deal with that issue after they buy it from you before buying you a new one.

Tail section gives it away. Thats not from droppin it... thats a lay down... looks like a high side.. since the case cover is just knicked... but the tail is SCRATCHED means it probably went down up end first, and then rolled to the side. and bar end means it was a PRETTY DAMN HARD IMPACT...

At our dealer****/my old one i mean. They would try to cop that **** out on ppl too... Dont give in, kick them in the nuts like repsolrider said... I wouldnt take NO for an answer... even if it is just "cosmetic" Id still kill someone...

Damn, pretty crappy they would take your bike out and ride it then trash it. Someone better get an *** whoppin for that one. I would go to the owner and report them to Honda!!!!
