Anyone have rim tape on their wheels? Are they good? Worth getting? Thinking about getting red for my wheels, I like that MotoGP look that the new black R6s have with the red rim stripe. Course the R6s have theirs painted, so was wondering if the tape would look just as good, or would it look cheap and tacky.

i saw some yellow tape on a 600 in a dealership a couple of days ago, it looked clean i thought ..

 

i bought rim tape. and i think it was from this guy and it was not precurved and i didnt even want to try with it cause i knew i couldnt make it look good. jsut search for the precurved stuff and it will go on very good and clean.i'll post pics after i get my bike back together to day.big day for the bike!

 

i have it on my bike, not precurved, and it came out great...check my gallery there should be a pic or two

 

Did you buy it from the same guy on eBay? cuz the auction says they're precurved. Did you have trouble getting it on properly without the precurve?

 

hey dballer i was just wondering where u got the red rear brake hose is it a cover or different hose it kinda catches the eye

 

i got it from my dealership, speigler i think, i took it off because there was a crack in it and wasn't about to chance it

 

search for reflective rim stripes. They are pretty badass and reflect when you shine a light source on it. Very clear at night.
